This is a great shaver from Panasonic, it has the floating head system rather than the rotary heads of the Norelcos.  In our tests we found that it gave us an excellent shave, perhaps the best of any of the units, very close, and the unit is solidly constructed.  It loses a few points for being a little more expensive and somewhat louder than the rotaries, but if you can afford this model and don’t mind the noise you won’t be disappointed.

PROS:

• Absolute best quality shave
• Solid construction

CONS:

• Loud operation
• Expensive

Braun’s best electric shaver, provided a very comfortable shave in our testing, not too much tugging on your beard, and still gave us a close shave.  This model uses Braun’s pulsonic technology, which gives you 10,000 microvibrations per second.  That feature may be what allows for a somewhat more comfortable shave than other models that we tested.  One of the better foil shavers out there, in fact the only negative we could find regarding this shaver was the price, but well worth it if you can afford it.

We were very impressed by the quality of this razor, one of the very few electric razors where you could honestly say it shaves as close as a blade.  The jet clean system makes cleaning easy, works fairly quickly and works well.  The only negative thing we have to say about this electric shaver is that it has some trouble with longer hair, but if you are mostly shaving short hair you will be extremely happy with this model.
